Don't miss your chance to be part of the region's largest and most dynamic assessment event, dedicated to transforming the future of testing.
At the heart of the E-ATP Conference lies our commitment to "Building Assessment for Good" — a theme that champions the transformative power of assessment to create positive change. In 2026, we celebrate the vital role that assessment plays in opening doors, supporting lifelong learning, and driving opportunity for all. We aim to shape a future where assessment empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and contributes to the greater good.
Get ready to immerse yourself in an inspiring setting where you can exchange ideas, learn from peers, and build lasting connections. If you're ready to share your experience, contribute to the conversation, or simply listen and learn, don't miss the chance to join us for E-ATP 2026 in Rome from 7–9 October 2026.
Proposals are due no later than 3 April 2026
E-ATP Conference topics will include:
Advancing the Value of Assessment - What we do reaches far beyond giving somebody a certificate. Qualifications can change people's lives. We are innovators in efficiency, and the intelligence in the room at ATP events has shifted the marker on social and gender equity. We want to know what you've done at your organisations, and how you're helping improve the world with your exam program.
AI in Assessment - We've (nearly) all had a dabble with AI tools at this point, but if you're an AI enthusiast, power user, or daily user implementing real change, this is your opportunity to be a thought leader for hundreds of eager listeners.
Assessment Security & Integrity - Whether remote or in person, if you've got evidence or opinions to share on how new innovations are stopping fraud, theft and cheating, we ALL benefit from sharing. Show us your innovations, tell us your unbelievable stories of hidden devices, or set up a debate on the pros and cons of centre vs. remote.
Prioritising the Test Taker Experience - From registration to results, today's test takers expect an assessment experience that is supportive, intuitive, and fair. How are we making sure we look after our test takers and ensure they have the best possible experience to demonstrate their knowledge and skills?
Guidance to submitters:
Papers should speak to the conference theme described above, Building Assessment for Good.
All submissions should speak to the needs of the assessment industry in Europe. Lessons learned from other geographies are welcomed, but they must be framed and articulated for a European audience.
Preference will be given to the following:
Case study presentations.
Client Presentations or Vendor co-presentations with clients or user organisations.
E-ATP reserves the right to combine session proposals and/or change session types in order to balance the number of sessions accepted.
E-ATP may edit session titles and abstracts for marketing purposes.
Submissions must be received by the deadline of 3 April 2026.
Acceptance Limitations:
A maximum of three sessions per company is permitted at the conference, and a maximum of two sessions per presenter is permitted. Sponsor Sessions are not included in this count.
If submitting a presentation session that includes multiple smaller presentations around the same topic, please include the different presentation details in the abstract when submitting. This includes titles and descriptions for each presentation.
Submissions judged by E-ATP reviewers to be simply advertisements for products and services or overly promotional in nature will not be accepted.
Requirements:
Presenters are required to:
Register for the conference at the published rate, book their hotel, and arrange travel.
Provide their own laptop for the presentation.
Arrange travel and transportation to and from the conference.
It will not be possible to guarantee a particular day and time for any presentation. All presenters must attend the conference on the day(s) assigned to their presentation.
Session Types are defined as follows:
Presentations - Presentations are 45-minute presentations or panel discussions consisting of 30 minutes of content and 15 minutes of live Q&A. Presentations provide a rounded perspective on a topic. Sessions can include multiple presenters from a single organisation or multiple organisations. One 45-minute presentation could include multiple smaller presentations around the same topic.
Interactive Sessions - Interactive Sessions are 45-minute sessions involving debate, discussions, or group activities to engage and involve the audience. These sessions should promote a high level of audience engagement and involvement throughout the entirety of the session.
ATP Discovery Zone - an immersive, hands-on experience designed to showcase the innovations shaping the future of assessment. This dedicated space invites companies to bring their solutions to life through live demonstrations with 12-15 participants for 45-minutes. Each attendee will be seated at an individual workstation, fully equipped by TeamCo, creating an environment that encourages exploration, experimentation, and meaningful interaction. Hosted in a private meeting room, each Discovery Zone is built for focused engagement and real-time discovery.
Selection of Topic Addressed:
You must select the primary topic that your submission addresses.
Advancing the Value of Assessment
AI in Assessment
Assessment Security & Integrity
Increasing Value for Test Takers
Please note:
Presentation authors are reminded that submissions addressing the above topics should speak to the needs of the assessment industry in Europe. If the subject matter is referencing other geographies, the learning offered to Europe should be clear, and papers must be framed and articulated for a European audience.
The E-ATP 2026 Conference Committee may alter this as they review and finalise sessions. For example, if the committee thinks your submission more closely fits another topic area, your submission may be changed in the final review.
