Routes and Public Transportation

From Amsterdam:

  1. Follow the A4 along Schiphol airport.
  2. At the junction after the bridge restaurant and the petrol station, head towards Leiden West / Den Haag Centrum (A44).
  3. On the A44 take the turning Noordwijk / Voorhout / Oegstgeest Noord (turning 6).
  4. Turn right at the end of the turnoff towards Noordwijk.
  5. Proceed along the canal and go straight ahead at the traffic lights in Voorhout.
  6. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights before Noordwijk (Gooweg / Nieuw Offemweg) and turn right at the second roundabout (Beeklaan).
  7. Stay on Beeklaan and after approximately 1,5 km Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is situated on your left-hand side.

From Den Haag (The Hague):

  1. Follow the A44 from Den Haag, along Wassenaar.
  2. On the A44 you take the turning Noordwijk / Leiden / Katwijk (turning 8).
  3. Turn left at the end of the turnoff towards Noordwijk.
  4. Follow the road (approx. 7-km.) and take the 1st turning Noordwijk.
  5. At the roundabout you go straight across the roundabout (Beeklaan).
  6. Stay on Beeklaan and after approximately 1,5 km Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin is situated on your left-hand side.

Public transportation from Schiphol

Take the intercity train from Schiphol Airport towards Leiden Central. From this station you can take bus line 20 to Noordwijk. These busses will depart every 15 minutes from Leiden central station during the day. The bus stop Picképlein, Noordwijk is the bus stop across the street from Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin. This trip will take approximately 1 hour.

Another option is traveling via station Sassenheim. Take a sprinter train from Schiphol Airport to Sassenheim station. From here you can take bus 385 towards Noordwijk. Please get off the bus at bus stop Picképlein, Noordwijk. This trip will take approximately 50 minutes.
